Flying Rainbows

Yup, I'm definitely in love with the versatility of this design.  This is "Flying Rainbows", a sister quilt to "Flying Confetti".  Both are from Teresa Mairal Barreu's new book, "Turnabout Patchwork".  This is the book release where I was lucky enough to participate in her blog hop.

This one is a little bigger than the Flying Confetti quilt so there is a bit more colour to play with.

The background fabric is Moda Grunge Onyx, and this chartreuse fabric with fushia bits is absolutely fabulous.  Here it is on the design wall ...
On the frame!

A couple more glamour shots ...

Thread is Hab 'n Dash Glide "Raven" - a luscious dark purple ...
Black Hobbs 80/20 batting keeps the intensity of the colours intact.
The digital design is "Sparks" by Anne Bright.
