This is "Shutters".
The quilt pattern is from the design team at Art Gallery Fabrics. When I was looking for patterns, it was on the AGF free project download page, created with their "City Loft" fabric line..
We used the Figo Fabrics, “Forest Fable” collection by Esther Fallon Lau. Travelling to cottage country last summer we stopped by "Threads That Bind" in Maxwell, and this fabric line leapt into our arms.
This is the same fabric line we used in "Heartwood". I really like this sort of colour study - the fabric works well in this very modern design and in the more traditional Heartwood.
The digital stitchout of my Quilting Biker logo is in one corner of the quilt. The design was digitized by Maureen Foster of Humble Bee Quilting.
The combination of stripes and solid triangles against the solid-ish Grunge makes my eyes really happy. The variations of triangles inside of triangles adds movement and interest.
My big, beautiful Bernina Q24 with QMatic recorded 95,164 stitches in this quilt.
