This beautiful client quilt was created as a wedding gift. Here it is in the wild, at sunset by the lake.
The fabrics in this quilt are spectacular batiks, a sunrise colour scheme to represent the start of the couple's life together.
The client asked for the Mega Medallion #1 digital design from Karlee Porter for the stitching.
The stitches do blend into the prints in the quilt top, but the back shows the beautiful design in all its glory.
To select thread, we spooled out potential Glide thread on the top to see how they will look. "Mango" was the winner here!
