The colourful strips are fabrics that have made appearances in this quilter's previous quilts - lots of Kaffe Fasset fabrics! It's such a treat to see these bits again, remembering her other creations.
The background sage green fabric lets the strippy triangles have the spotlight.
We chose the digital design, "Dahlia" for fabulous texture. I love that big leaf that breaks up the petals!
The black and white prints add zing!
The backing is Moda Grunge "Hits the Spot" in Grey Couture.
This quilt is stitched together with Hab 'n Dash Glide "Sage" thread. Hobbs 80/20 batting has just the perfect loft for this quilt. My Bernina Q24 with QMatic recorded over 132,000 stitches in this 89" square quilt.
