Client Quilt - Crumbs

There is so much to love about a "Crumb" quilt!
It's a wonderful way to use up the cut offs of previous projects, it's like a bonus quilt!
Crumb quilts also give you another home for favourite fabrics, to pair them in new ways.  Don't you just love that striped border?!
Maker @sbasswest loves applique too, and she has a few sweet pieces appliqued on this quilt - flowers, rainbows, fish!
These fabrics have so many interesting bits!  Have you spotted the roosters and turtles, to go along with some favourite Kaffe Fassett fabrics.
And yet somehow, even using up scraps and crumbs, the pile of scraps never seems to diminish.  There must be some cool physics theorum to explain this phenomenon?
For the digital design, I combined two Basketweave designs from My Creative Stitches, one with pearls and one without.
The very pretty backing shows the quilting stitches much better than the busy front - party in the back!

Hobbs 80/20 batting and Hab 'n Dash Glide "Cloud" thread went into this quilt.  My Bernina Q24 Qmatic recorded +80K stitches.
