This beautiful collection of colour and calm, is a medallion quilt centered around Friendship Stars which surround a beautiful Kaffe Fasset fussy cut flower.
The borders of the medallion are sometimes very narrow, sometimes big and bold and bright. Each one celebrates the other fabrics in the quilt, carrying their colour story - purples, blues, oranges, reds, greens.
These Kaffe Fassett prints just work so well together!

The back folded over the front of the quilt shows the beautiful green central area on the back that matches the greens on the front of the quilt. And shows the beautiful shapes of the digital design.
The quilt back is just glorious! The design "Joyful with Pearls" has beautiful leaves, swirls and pearls, and the solids let the quilting design hold the starring role.
To select the thread colour, I used my trusty colour tool. Here, I'm matching the green of the central fabric in the back, and finding the complimentary colour - for chartreuse, it's red-violet. Hab 'n Dash "Viking" fits that bill!
My Bernina Q24 QMatic recorded 98,202 stitches in this 78" square quilt. The batting we chose is Hobbs Heirloom premium bleached 80/20.
