How is it that I just love each and every quilt that goes on the frame?? Some sort of magic happens, or I just love quilting and quilts and quilters! This quilt is for a grandaughter's big bed.

That border is just so awesome!
Forest friends are scattered across the quilt. One of my favourite bits is that Key Lime Funky Daisy design on the royal purple fabric.
Or is it the key lime thread on the teal? Another fabulous combination.

Drawing on an early lesson from the great John Willard, lime is a neutral and works with everything! Especially this quilt, with the lime backing.
My Bernina Q24 with QMatic recorded +178,000 stitches on this fun quilt. We used Quilters Dream 100% Cotton, Request loft - their lightest loft, as there will be lots of warmth from the Fireside backing.
