Violet Quilts - Solidish

How amazing is it, that I get to see a quilt design in multiple versions!  This client quilt is another of the "Violet Quilt" from the Kitchen Table Violet Quilt Quilt-A-Long.

This magnificent quilt is very modern - a white background and prints that read as solids.
This is another of my amazing clients who is a precision piecer.  I so admire this skill!  Just look at the care she took to line up the wee stripes in this print.  Not only in this block, but in the other blocks with this print, and there is another print with similar stripes, just as well matched.  I am in awe!
Here it is quilted.  It is a feast for my eyes!
The collection of prints in this quilt is so much fun!  That purple plus block with the green/wasabi/blue triangles is one of the anchors - the same colours appear in other blocks.
These colours and arrangement make my eyes so happy!
The texture of this quilting design is magnificent.
This shot while it is still on the frame is a glimpse of the beauty of the client quilts that I get to work with.
The backing is such an interesting print too.  It is not a wide back, but it is wider than usual so did not have to be pieced.  And such a great colour to work with the prints on the front.
This might be hard to see - but it is an image of the quilter's logo that I digitized and stitch into her quilts.  How fun is that!  It's a trillium from her Blue Trillium Quilter logo.
The digital design in this quilt is "Ikat 1" from Urban Elementz.  Hab 'n Dash Glide White thread and Quiltes Dream 100% White cotton, Select loft give this quilt that wonderful light and airy feel.
