Client Quilt - Geometric Solids

This is a wonderful colour study, with lots of geometric shapes.  Love every bit of it!
The designs that stood to me, and I wanted to highlight, were the stars and bars, and the boxy shape.
The colour gradations through the quilt are wonderful.  From a claret purple to pale pink, coral, light purple, to lime green, blues and back to purple, it is a great rainbow representation.

The quilt is a pattern from Lee A Heinrich, called "Atmosphere".

The majority of the quilting designs are rulerwork, and 3 free motion designs - ribbon candy, wishbones and swirly-feathery designs.  The rest are all ruler work.  I was aiming for motion and to highlight bringing some pieces together - like the stars and the squares on point.
The positioning of the ribbon candy and wishbones alternated from row to row.

Tools for quilting this piece - the always-present Quilters Apothecary mystical ditcher (with the beautiful and handy red handle), an "S" shape, and one of the Quilted Pineapple arc rulers.  Hera marker for marking centre points.
I got to use so many colours on this one!  All are Hab 'n Dash Glide thread:  Tabiz Orchid, Coral, Key Lime, Cloud, Peacock.
The finished quilt is just a delightful composition of colour and texture!  Just over 167,000 stitches in this beauty.  The batting is white Quilters Dream 100% cotton, Select loft, for a light and airy finish.
