More sheep! This was the second of a pair of quilts that came in, from quilting buddies. They wanted them to be quilted similarly. So these fuzzy friends were quilted with curliques in the bodies. The arc design in the corner of the blocks was spaced a little differently, to give an echoed arc look.
The sheep applique fabric is a variety of woolens.
They have seed bead eyes.
The whole herd ...
The back is solid black, not the grey the photo shows. But this does show the quilting :)
The borders don't show the quilting much at all, even with using black thread throughout! Swirls in the wider background and curls in the narrow black border. The narrow inner border on this quilt has the curls facing in the same direction. Its sister quilt had the curls alternating directions.
Thread: Hab + Dash Glide Black on the top, Omni Black in the bobbin.
Bernina stitch count: 76,098.
