This sweet client quilt is for a new baby arriving shortly. I got to see its start at a retreat earlier in the year! This is a delightful charm pack set with solid strips, set off with navy and white, with a sailboat and whale theme.
I love the way this client arranged the borders, with strips of patches in the corners!
Prints in this pack include text, whales, sailboats and anchors, in one of my favourite colour combinations - teal and red, with navy and white tossed in. Used a teal So Fine Superior Thread, and the batting is Quilters Dream 100% cotton. Light and airy.
The back has a strip of navy at the top and bottom, with the fun wee whale print for most of the back.
