Gillette - Buffalo - #16 Through Bighorn National Forest - Tensleep - Thermopolis - Meeteese - Cody.
Travelling through Bighorn National Forest was such a treat - they have labelled the types of rocks and the geologic period where they arose - pre-Cambrian, Cambrian, Mississipian to Jurassic periods. Some of the very cool sights were the canyon walls that seemed to be terraced for trees.
Humbling and awesome.
Fun stop in TenSleep. On to Thermopolis and a tour of the hot springs. Such interesting formations and colours in the water and the rocks!
