It's official ... I'm in love with batiks!
I've been working on a king size quilt, just finished up last night. The pattern is "Bits & Bars", Laurie Shifrin's, from her "Batik Gems" book. There are about 20 different fabrics in this beauty. I finished it with decorative embroidery stitches around each block and down every other seam inside the blocks.
The batiks are an absolute dream to work with! I just have to be careful to wipe up the drool from admiring them :)
