The quilt pattern is from @gedesignsgudrun, "Winny". It is a dynamic, elegant design that is a great playground for a collection of prints. It finishes at 94" x 94".
The fabrics are from @libselliott - her "Rancho Relaxo" collection, and Zen Chic's Spotted Aluminum.
Sheila selected the digital design "BoxTrot" designed by Patricia Ritter, available at UrbanElementz. It's a fabulous echo to the boxy designs in the quilt blocks.
A peek into my process for sizing digital designs - I intentionally size the panto so that it does not exactly match the block size. Depending on the density of the design, batting selection and preferences of the maker, I upsize or downsize so that no repeat of the digital design would exactly fit into a quilt block. I do this so the design flows across the whole quilt, so it does not look like the stitch out missed a block boundary or the rows aren't aligned.
The backing for this quilt is a Carolyn Friedlander Widescreen in grey, which shows the quilting design beautifully. Glide #40 Light Grey thread, Quilters Dream 100% Cotton batting, Select loft. My Innova M28 recorded +137,000 stitches in this quilt.
