Such a fun quilt from maker @muchlove!
Sheila chose fabrics from the collection Midnight Magic 2 by April Rosenthal for Moda Fabrics. The fabrics are Halloween but not over the top - with florals and a Moroccan tile pattern, tiny stars, and gingham mixed in with moon shapes, black cats, skull and bones and candy corn. So pretty but not too creepy! I really love this collection!! The moons with all the phases of the moon is so cool!!
I love this view - up close and personal with all the beautiful fabrics, and the meticulous piecing that maker Sheila is renowned for. The pattern is #melodyquilt by @kitchentablequilting.
The digital quilting design for this quilt is "Spider's Web".
Thread is Hab 'n Dash Glide "Cool Grey 3", giving a gossamer feel of stitches layered into the fabric.
One of the really awesome parts of digital designs and stitching is the ability to size the design larger or smaller, according to the results the quilter is looking for. Maker Sheila prefers fairly tight stitching. Even with the close stitches, the quilt is still soft and cosy.
