This quilting design, "Marmalade", adds beautiful overall texture, keeping the focus on the bold shapes of the piecing and all the colour.

The white background in the half square triangles (HST) really let the prints be the star of the show.
The backing for this quilt is a 100% cotton sheet, satiny and a glorious swath to see all the texture of the quilting design.
The digital design is from Urban Elementz, "Marmalade". Sweet swirls and pearls stitch out beautifully.
We used Hab 'n Dash Glide "Pearl" thread to give a warm tone to the quilting design.
Hobbs 80/20 batting gives nice loft to the stiches.
My Bernina Q24 Qmatic recorded 236,000 + stitches in this gorgeous quilt.
