Quilty Clothesline

There are not many things better than beautiful quilts, hanging on the clothesline, on a warm and sunny afternoon.
These beauties have all been delivered to My Sister's Place.
They were created during an initiative from Stache Fabrics & Notions.
Stache provided customers with fabrics to make a block (in their brand colours) and customers ran with the challenge!
There were 13 quilts created from these blocks.  Store staff assembled the blocks into finished quilts.
There was another entire quilt donated for this cause.
Customers were able to make whatever block they wanted with the fabrics, and they were to finish at a specific size, to make it a bit easier to put the quilts together.
We had a perfect Sunday afternoon to hang the quilts on my clothesline in the back yard.
Each block is a masterpiece!
Gathered together, they embody so many things that quilting means - building community, many hands coming together, inspiration and the joy of making.
They are just so beautiful!
The dappled shadows of the tree branches added interesting dimension to the photos.
They are amazing works of love!
And that "LOVE" block in the middle - so perfect!
This one features sisters in a log cabin block.
Traditional blocks and improv blocks fit together really well!
What a sight!
My heart is full of joy at all the love in the making of these quilts!
