This is a memory quilt - the colourful and plaid fabrics are from a loved one's clothes. The pattern is "Chandelier" - a You Tube tutorial is available from Missouri Star Quilt Company or the pattern is a free download from Lella Boutique's blog.
One of my regular quilting clients teamed up with a new quilt and worked together on this one!
The grey background really lets the colourful and the plaid squares take the limelight.

The backing is a gorgeous print from Northcott Fabrics, "Swept Away".

This 64" x 80" quilt received a double layer of Hobbs 80/20 batting to generate some awesome texture. My Bernina Q24 with QMatic recorded 99,998 stitches.
