This beautiful client quilt is a wonderful mix of low volume background and applique to create a modern dream catcher.
In selecting the digital quilting design, we reflected the sunny yellow border and the happy bees in the fabrics - Maureen Foster's (Humble Bee Quilting & Handwork) "Sunny Bees" was a wonderful fit!
The side light on this photo shows some of the detail of the digital design. The beautiful blues and greys in the centre medallion are very elegant.
Happy bees, curly sunflowers combine to dance across the quilt.
There are a few bees fussy cut and appliqued across the quilt too!
The back was an understated grey solid. The quilting design really brings this side to life.

Hab 'n Dash Glide "Lemon Ice" added just a hint of yellow to the stitching, creating a softer effect than if we'd used white or grey.
The batting is Quilters Dream 100% cotton, Select loft. My Bernina Q24 Qmatic recorded 127,744 stitches.
