This client quilt is "Windy Day" - a creation by @blue_trillium_quilter, a pattern by @sarahs.softies. 
And it is making its debut in the January 2022 edition of @makemodernmagazine! Congrats to Sarah for having her designs published!! I really love this design - beautiful and big half square triangles creating the shapes - the star and its companions scattered in the wind.
Among the windy curves, the trillium of @blue_trillium_quilter's logo lays nestled into the corner.
Just two shapes form the quilting, straight lines in the star shapes, and the big wave in the background.
The straight lines in the diamonds alternate with the colours.
The rulers to create the quilted shapes - Quilters Apothecary Mystical Ditcher, and Gadget Girls Shells & Swirl rulers.
I love the how well @blue_trillium_quilter co-ordinates her backs with the colours in the top - the blues and greens in the back are perfect complements to the fabrics in the top.
Quilted with Hab 'n Dash Glide "Pistachio" thread. Batting is Quilters Dream 100% Cotton, Select loft. My Bernina Q24 recorded 96,772 stitches in this beauty.
