The colours Sue chose for the surrounding fabrics work so well with the panel. The stars and checkerboard, surrounded by multiple borders is so effective. I love that the border strips are all different sizes.
This border print with forest animal footprints is so perfect! Multiple borders like this can lead to extra fullness, even with careful cutting and piecing. A good spritz of starch shrinks that wavy border into submission.
