This glorious quilt is "Daybreak". A pattern by The Geeky Bobbin, my client created this entirely from Moda Grunge fabrics. A description of the quilt from her website ...
"The Daybreak Quilt is the second pattern in the Lakeside Reflections Series by Geeky Bobbin. This geometric, modern landscape quilt constructs fractured rings of sunlight using foundation paper pieced strips to create a dynamic effect. This pattern includes all templates and foundations needed, as well as tips for piecing curves, so even a confident beginner can successfully make a dramatic wall hanging or throw quilt."

Our London Modern Quilt Guild had scheduled Bobbie (of The Geeky Bobbin) for a workshop in May and she provided a virtual workshop for us! This series of quilts is modern and beautiful.
This client quilt will be on display at Stache Fabrics & Notions - you can also purchase the pattern (or the series of three patterns) from her!
I really love how much dimension and texture the Moda Grunge gives to this quilt.
For the quilting, I stayed pretty close to Bobbie's own quilting on her pattern.
Lots of ruler work for the quilting! I used two threads for this piece. For the sunrise and reflection, I used Hab 'n Dash Glide "Flame". For all of the rest of the quilt, Hab 'n Dash Glide "Graphite" - a beautiful blue-grey.
The back is a glorious teal Grunge.
Stitch count on the Bernina for this one: 78,484.
