Peeps, this is "RUNuts"! Designed for the 2019 Row By Row, this is a shop sample for Michealanne's Stashe Fabrics & Notions store. Designed by Lorna from Sew Fresh Quilts, this is a fun fit for this year's Row by Row theme, "Taste the Experience".
This l'il gal has been busy gathering her nuts ...
stashing them in the birch tree ...
The piece is a long block size (12" x 27") - and it is packed with fun. The birch has woodgrain stitching. There is quite a bit of matchstick quilting, on the blue sky background, the black background behind the nuts, etc.
All these threads are in this piece - Glide light grey, So Fine black, So Fine light brown, Glide bark, So Fine aqua, Omni willow, Omni Palm trees.
Lorna's patterns are all piecing, not paper pieced. Lots of itty bitty pieces in this one!
