This fantastic client quilt is from Amy Garro's book "Paper Pieced Modern". I love the flow of the greys across the quilt, and the pop of yellow - zing!
She asked for it to be quilted as in the book - Angela Walters quilted that one - - - no pressure!!!. Hopefully I've captured that spirit.
Batting is wool, backing is a sheet from Ikea with French text. It was a poly-cotton and gave no problems with tension or batting shifting.
Glide light grey thread top and bobbin. In the yellow, a shot of Glide Dijon thread. Stitch count: 146,368. Lots of my favourite - ruler work.
